Featuring the Speakeasy Revival Orchestra and the Horsham Symphony Orchestra.
A charity concert commemorating Horsham musician Mark Elvin who sadly passed away in the spring of 2024.
As well as being a fine musician, composer, arranger, publisher and educator, Mark was a founding member of the Speakeasy Revival Orchestra and was a prolific composer for the Horsham Symphony Orchestra.
The concert will feature music composed, arranged and previously played by Mark. The first half will feature the magnificent Speakeasy Revival Orchestra, a seven-piece ensemble who combine the finest jazz musicianship with humour, energy, finesse, and an extra comedy twist. The second half will feature one of the UK's leading tuba players Jonathan Rees, and the fabulously dynamic Horsham Symphony Orchestra, one of the most talented amateur orchestras in the UK.
Profits from the event will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
