An Evening of Comedy May 2024

**ACT UPDATE**

Unfortunately Paul McCaffrey is no longer able to join us so the MC for the evening will now be the fabulous Adam Bloom.

Adam was 18 months old when his parents nicknamed him “The Voice”.  When he was 10, he told them he was going to be a comedian.  By the age of 23, he was.

Ten years later, he has appeared on television and radio in various guises and performed at all the major comedy festivals around the world.

Adam continues to perform on the stand up circuit and is his second series of “The Problem With…” was aired on BBC Radio. He is currently recording a show for BBC Radio 4 investigating ‘The Comic Pause’!

We are still delighted to be welcoming Mark Steel and Angela Barnes back to Christ’s Hospital for the evening.

Sony and Writers’ Guild Award-winning writer and comedian Mark Steel is best known for his critically acclaimed BBC Radio 4 show Mark Steel’s in Town.

Mark has presented the BAFTA-nominated Mark Steel Lectures for BBC Two, and is a regular on BBC One’s Have I Got News for You and BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz. He has also written several acclaimed books, including: Reasons to be Cheerful and What’s Going On?
