Come and step into a dream world where spells are cast, trees whisper and dance and a huge cast of lovers, fairies and rustics find their worlds colliding with riotous consequences.
This is an outdoor, abridged version of one of Shakespeare’s classic plays, performed by our UF and LE year groups and will be the first fully sustainable production at Christ’s Hospital. We have re-used, begged, borrowed and stolen to create the madness that happens in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Please Note: The performance and audience area will take place in a beautiful wooded glade but is therefore open to the elements. Ticket holders should be prepared for all weathers and bring suitable clothing.
Please bring your own seating, either blankets or deck chairs and feel free to bring your own refreshments, although we do ask that you don’t bring breakable glassware, flame torches / lanterns, BBQ’s etc. Where possible we would love that everything be recyclable.
The performance will continue in most weather, including wet weather. In the event of severe weather conditions, however, Christ’s Hospital reserve the right to cancel or abandon the performance. Information about cancelled performances will be posted on the school website and Social Media.
